Congratulations to our newly appointed Lawyers

We welcome Thomas G. Hanrahan, Partner.

Tom joins our team of skilled lawyers as a member of our municipal land use and civil litigation and advocacy groups. He brings with him over 30 years’ experience in a wide variety of legal matters, including extensive experience in land development matters and associated litigation. Tom has acted for municipalities, developers and individuals in all phases of the development process and appears regularly before the Ontario Land Tribunal and the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.

A long-time resident of Niagara, Tom’s community involvement includes many years as a representative for Niagara South on the Bench and Bar Committee, and as a Director for the John Howard Society of Niagara.


We welcome Joseph Kuta, Associate.

Joseph is the newest member of our Business Law group. His practice will be primarily focused on
corporate and commercial law, commercial real estate and estates. Joseph is a tenacious advocate
for his client’s interests. He dedicates himself to gaining a deep understanding of each of his
client’s business enterprises in order to provide tailored legal advice that assists them in achieving their goals in an increasingly complex legal and economic environment.

Joseph is excited to begin his career in the Niagara region, which he has grown attached to during his
time living just across the border in
Western New York. Outside of
the office, you can catch Joseph
playing just about any kind of
sport, watching the Toronto
Raptors and Buffalo Bills,
fishing and camping.

We welcome Danielle Thomas, Associate.

Sullivan Mahoney is delighted to announce that Danielle Thomas is continuing with the firm as an associate within the Civil Litigation Group. Danielle joins us after completing her articles with the firm and following her call to the Law Society of Ontario in April 2022.

As a member of the Civil Litigation Group, Danielle is building a broad litigation practice that includes small claims matters, commercial and civil disputes. When working with Danielle, clients can expect transparency along each step of the way while she works toward reaching the best results for her clients. 

Outside of work, Danielle enjoys exploring local restaurants and reading the latest novel. Danielle is proud to call the Niagara Region her home and looks forward to growing her legal practice within the area.


We welcome Sean Cahill, Associate.

Sean is a member of our Real Estate and Business Law groups with a practice focused on corporate and commercial law, real estate law, wills and estates. Based out of our Niagara Falls office, Sean acts for clients on a variety of transactions ranging from large corporate transactions to residential real estate transactions. 

Sean earned his undergraduate degree at the Goodman School of Business at Brock University and his law degree from the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law. He completed his articling at a downtown Toronto real estate law firm where he provided legal advice with regards to a variety of commercial and residential real estate transactions. 

Sean grew up in the Niagara Region and was excited to return after his studies in law school. When he is not at the office, you can find him playing guitar at a local venue with his band or on the golf course.
