Sean joined Sullivan Mahoney LLP in 2020 following the completion of his articles in Ottawa. As a member of our Civil Litigation and Advocacy and Employment and Labour Law Groups, Sean acts for clients in a variety of employment, human rights, and litigation related matters.
Sean received his Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in 2012 and Master of Arts in 2014 from Brock University, and his Juris Doctor in 2018 from the University of Ottawa. Before joining Sullivan Mahoney LLP as an associate lawyer in 2020, Sean articled at a civil litigation firm in Ottawa where he was involved in a variety of civil, commercial, and class action litigation matters.
As a member of our Civil Litigation and Advocacy and Employment and Labour Law Groups, Sean acts for clients in a variety of employment, human rights, and litigation related matters. Sean strives towards passionately advocating for client interests and providing innovative solutions to legal issues, while remaining friendly, approachable, and compassionate.
While attending law school at the University of Ottawa, Sean refined his written and oral advocacy skills through focusing his studies on litigation courses, internal moots, and intensive trial coursework at the Ottawa Courthouse. During his final year of studies, Sean worked at the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada where he provided legal and policy advice and liaised with the Department of Justice among other federal agencies.
Sean is proud to call the Niagara Region his home and is thrilled to have the opportunity to establish his practice while serving the community. Outside the practice of law, Sean enjoys spending time reading philosophy, playing guitar, and keeping active in the gym, pool, and tennis court.
