Evan joined Sullivan Mahoney LLP in 2025 as an Associate after completing his articles with the firm. He is a member of the Municipal & Land-Use group, where his practice encompasses a broad range of municipal, planning, and regulatory matters.

Evan holds a Master of Arts in Planning, where he studied subjects including land-use planning, policy development, aggregate resource extraction, and expropriation – knowledge he draws upon daily in advising municipalities, developers, and property owners. His interdisciplinary education has provided him with a strong understanding of land-use planning from both legal and planning perspectives across the application and appeal stages of the land development process.

He later attended Toronto Metropolitan University, earning his Juris Doctor, where he achieved the highest standing in his year’s Municipal Law course offering. Evan was an active member of his law school community, including contributing as a law review editor and serving as a teaching assistant.

Born and raised in the Niagara Region, Evan is proud to serve the community he calls home. Outside of the office, he can be found cheering on Toronto’s professional sports teams, staying active, and enjoying the region’s growing food scene and agritourism offerings.
